Our Year 6 students and their teachers are currently down in Canberra enjoying our nation's capital. After leaving St Luke's early yesterday morning the students visited Mount Ainslie followed by Questacon. They then spent the afternoon at the National Exhibition Centre before heading to their accommodation at Canberra Park. Today they will spend the day in the snowfields before returning to their accommodation. Tomorrow the students will spend the morning at The Australian War Memorial, Parliament House (undertaking the education program) and then off to the Australian Institute of Sport. On Thursday the students will visit Government House and Old Parliament House before heading to Sydney to catch their return flight home. This is a wonderful education experience that all St Luke's students will enjoy while in Year 6. See Parent Portal, Class News, Year 6 for more photos.
