The Australian War Memorial has recognised the wonderful work of our Year 3 students by showcasing the students' work on their official website.
Year 3 spent a term learning about the sacrifices
their families and others made during WW1. The children in their news
presentations spoke to their parents, grandparents and in some cases great
grandparents about their family history.
Families researched and sent in photos, artefacts and
stories of their relatives. Some family members of course, were not involved
during the war but shared their stories of farming, welding and other important
jobs that kept the soldiers going.
