St Luke's Colour Run

This Friday we will be having our very first St Luke’s Colour Run which is the major fundraiser for the P&F in 2019. It promises to be a great afternoon and a fantastic way to finish the term. There will be a BBQ lunch available (please purchase through QKR!) and the Colour Run will take place from 1.00pm until the end of the day. Please check the P&F notes below for full details of the event. We encourage as many parents and grandparents to come along and enjoy the afternoon with your children.

Important information for the day:

The Colour Run will commence at 1:00pm on the oval – all families are invited to attend and participate if they choose.

Children are to come in free dress and are encouraged to wear the Fun Run shirt and hat or a light coloured shirt. We suggest that you wear shorts and shoes that are okay to be sprayed with coloured powder. Souvenir colour run shirt and hat sets will be sent home on Wednesday this week. We would strongly recommend students bringing a change of clothes for the end of the day to travel home in.

The P&F will be running a BBQ on the day – children can pre-order through Qkr! Orders close at 8:00am on Thursday 19th September. Parents and spectators can purchase food and drinks on the day from 12:00pm – 1:00pm. There will also be a coffee van present on the day.

If your child has ordered lunch it will be delivered to your child at 12:00pm. If your child has not ordered lunch they will need to bring a packed lunch. There will be no tuckshop available on Friday 20 September. You will need to pack morning tea and afternoon tea for your children as well as send along a drink bottle.

Fundraising – you can set up your online account for your supporters to deposit online. If you choose not to do online fundraising you will still need to register your cash amount online to qualify for a prize. All cash donations will need to be brought to the office by Wednesday 9th October when online fundraising will close.

You will need to order prizes by Sunday 13 October. This can be only done online through the account that you have set up. If you are collecting cash donations you will need to register online to redeem your prize. Prizes will be sent to the school and made available for collection in mid Term 4. More information will follow next term on how you can collect your prize.

There are many opportunities to get involved on the day – we will require helpers for the course set up, running assistants, water sprayers, colour sprayers, BBQ helpers and pack up. Plus all families are invited to participate in the fun run on the day also.

The P&F would like to thank all our families for being so supportive of the Colour Run. This is our major fundraiser for this year and without your support it would not be as successful as it is! Thank you!
