At St. Luke's we value 21st century thinking and look for opportunities to engage our students in worthwhile learning experiences. Every year we invite interested students to participate in the Opti-MINDS challenge. Opti-MINDS is an inclusive team project which empowers children to think critically and creatively around long and short term challenges. Opti-MINDS is not about competition but learning how to work together socially, academically and artistically. It requires experimentation, sustainable practice and divergent thinking. Recently, 4 teams from Years 3-6 proudly took to the stage in a spirit of exploration, collaboration and a love of learning to create and communicate their ideas and initiative. We are very proud of what our students achieved at the recent regional event held at Marsden SHS. Their efforts demonstrated what St. Luke's is all about - working and developing as individuals within a community of learning.
