NAIDOC Week Celebrations

NAIDOC Week celebrations were held across Australia last week to celebrate the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. NAIDOC week is celebrated by Australians from all walks of life. As we were on holidays last week, will celebrate NAIDOC week on Thursday and Friday this week with the following events:

PRAYER: 4 White will be leading the school with our NAIDOC liturgy on Thursday at 2:00pm in the Emmaus Centre. All welcome to attend.
BUSH TUCKER GARDEN WALK: Classes are invited to walk through the bush tucker garden. It will be filled with ATSIC information for classes to read and discuss. The walk will start at the front of the bush tucker garden and finish in the Mary garden. There will be footprints for the students to follow. There will also be some paper leaves in a box that classes may like to decorate and hang in the garden.

COLOURING COMPETITION: for all year levels to participate in.

Please join us as 4 White lead our prayer on Thursday 18th July at 2:00pm in the Emmaus Centre.
