Library News - Minecraft Competition

You may have heard your Year 4, 5 or 6 child talk about a competition for Minecraft. Some children have elected to enter the first ever BCE Minecraft competition. Each team needs to create a Minecraft world and include an activity for a visitor to that world. Every world must align with what the children are learning in class and they will need to prepare a 5 min presentation for the competition submission. The competition is being run through the school and is not due until the end of Term 3 so students have plenty of time to work on it. This is an exciting opportunity for students to use their imagination and problem-solving skills whilst showcasing their learning. Students will be given time in Minecraft club once a week to work on their worlds and may also be given the occasional chance in class, time permitting.
