St Luke's Loves Learning

This week we are continuing our focus on our St Luke’s matrix of expected behaviours.

This fortnight’s expectations focus is – Use Respect. In this area, we communicate effectively, build right relationships and remember that each of us are formed in the image and likeness of God. Being respectful, we listen to others, speak positively, play fairly and use good manners.

Our Learner Quality this fortnight is Pete Persistence. Persistence is a character trait that continues learning and/or playing despite challenge or difficulty. Often, we face challenges, in learning when a new concept is introduced, a new game rule in a play time activity or a new personality is introduced within the social group. Having persistence to push through the challenge, and to grow and learn from the experience, is a strong personality trait to set up students for success in the future.
