This Friday will be ‘free dress Friday’ in support of Brisbane Catholic Education’s
“Hearts Aflame” initiative to raise money for catholic schools impacted by recent
bushfires. Students are asked to bring a gold coin donation to support this initiative.
Money will be collected in classrooms on Friday morning. A reminder that on free
dress day, students are expected to wear clothing that is both sensible and respectful.
This includes suitable footwear to continue to engage in their learning and playtime.
Thongs, strappy sandals or costume shoes are not considered safe footwear for
school activities. Students are also required to wear a hat – no hat, no play.
